Dwelly Buys Multi-Branch Agency Move in Sixth Acquisition of 2026

Dwelly has acquired Move, a lettings agency with branches in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Worcester and some 1,100 fully managed properties. It’s Dwelly’s sixth acquisition of 2026 and the second involving an agency with a Cheltenham office. Following the acquisition, Move founder George Tatham-Losh will take a step back. Dwelly says Move fits its acquisition strategy because of its established local presence, customer relationships and branch network, while also offering scope for technology-led operational improvements. Sam Humphreys, head of mergers and acquisitions at Dwelly, says Move stood out because of its deep local roots, strong culture and market knowledge. He says: “Our approach is about helping already successful agencies operate even more effectively by improving the infrastructure behind the scenes, removing manual admin and operational friction so teams can spend more time focused on service, relationships and growth.” The acquisition expands Dwelly’s managed portfolio across three additional branches and reinforces its strategy of scaling through established local agencies supported by technology and streamlined operations.
